The largest and most popular cryptocurrency has once again fallen below $10,400, BTC was initially trading at $10,534 which sparked conversation between crypto enthusiasts on Twitter claiming and hoping that BTC would once again reach $11,000.
However this was not the case as Bitcoin dipped $200 later in the day, BTC is currently reporting 2.29% losses in the last 24 hours and is trading at $10,312 at press time.
Ethereum is holding unto its position as the largest altcoin with a market cap of $19 billion. Ether is currently trading at $178 at press time. The top altcoin is down 1.96% in the last 24 hours but is up 4.32% in its weekly chart.
The second-largest altcoin Ripples XRP is also reporting losses on the day. XRP is down 1.74% and is currently trading at $0.25 at press time. XRP achieved its highest point of trade in the day trading at $0.26 before dipping $0.01.
Top crypto Litecoin (LTC) is also reporting losses on the day as well. LTC is down 2.87% on the day and is currently trading at $68.88 at press time. LTC achieved its highest point yesterday trading at $70 and currently has a market cap of $4 billion.
EOS is one of the few cryptocurrencies reporting gains in the last 24 hours at press time. EOS is up 1.14% in the day and is currently trading at $3.65 at press time. EOS currently has a market cap of $3 billion.
