Hey ninjas, how’s the trading going? Earlier in the day, the largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin traded at $10,146, the highest it’s been since its fall in September.
Bitcoin price value had been lingering in the $7,000s since the 23rd of October before it’s surge earlier in the day to $8,500 and then once more to trade above $10,000. At press time BTC is trading at $8,959 and is reporting 3.93% gains on the day.
Though Bitcoin is reporting a surge in its price value the majority of the top cryptocurrencies are reporting losses in the last 24 hours. The largest altcoin by market cap Ethereum is reporting 2.96% losses on the day and is trading at $176 at press time. Ether reached its highest point of the day trading at $185 and its market cap value is over 19 billion at press time.
The second-largest altcoin XRP is also reporting losses on the day. XRP is down 1.92% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $0.29 at press time. Top crypto Bitcoin cash (BCH) is down 3.47% and is trading at $246 at press time.
EOS and Litecoin are both down on the day, EOS is reporting 4% losses and trading at $3.05 while Litecoin is down 2.87% on the day and is trading at $55 at press time.
