As the fires in Australia reached record-breaking proportions, Cointelegraph and Oxygen Seven have come together in an effort to raise funds for the country. Cointelegraph is an independent digital media resource that covers news on Blockchain Technology.

Users can make donations in Bitcoin to a wallet address belonging to Oxygen Seven and all the funds will go to the Australian Wildfire Fund.

The president spoke on donations in Bitcoin, explaining that Bitcoin provides “clarity” by allowing donors to track their donations and how much money was raised. He was also asked about the partnership with Cointelegraph and he explained that they were chosen because he believes that Cointelegraph is capable of spreading awareness in the crypto community.

He stated that after Cointelegraph felt compelled to act after seeing how much damage was caused by the fires and the suffering of the Australian people.
