Croatian post has partnered with Zagreb based cryptocurrency brokerage firm electrocoin to launch a pilot program, the program enables Croatians and foreign users to exchange cryptocurrencies to traditional currencies.
At the moment it is possible to exchange 5 of the most commonly used cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Stellar, Ripple, and EOS in a few easy steps. A person who intends to use this service would first have to file an application before the QR code is scanned and the equivalent value is given in cash at the post office.
The aim of the Croatian post is to spread the pilot service to all major cities and tourist centers in Croatia. The exchange pilot is currently available in three post office in Zadar (Josip Juraj Strossmayera 8, Škožići Benje 1 and Maslenica Street 1). According to the organization's official site, Electrocoin has been in business for 5 years and, its services are available throughout the European Union.
