Hey ninjas, how’s the trading going? The largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin is once again trading over $8K. BTC began the year trading around $7k before BTC appreciated to trade over $8K on the 8th of January it had been struggling to sustain its market price since its depreciation on the 21st of November 2019.
At press time bitcoin is trading at $8,095 and is reporting 0.36% daily losses. BTC is up 9.7% on its monthly chart it's market cap value is over $146 billion at press time.
Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency is down over 6% on its monthly chart. Ether much like Bitcoin has struggled to maintain its market price ever since its dip in November 2019. From September 2019 to November, ether traded around $178 before its price depreciated on the 21st of November.
ETH began trading around $145 till December 16th, 2019 and depreciated further to trade around $120. At press time, Ether is trading at $139 and is reporting 1.78% daily losses, it's market cap value is over $15 billion.
The third-largest cryptocurrency Ripples XRP is down 7.83% on its monthly chart. XRP suffered a massive loss in market value on the 15th of December, XRP initially traded around $0.22 before its price dipped to trade as low as $0.18.
On the 6th of January 2020, XRP reported moderate gains and began trading above $0.20. At press time XRP is trading at $0.20 and is reporting 3.85% losses in the last 24 hours.
The total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies at press time is $213,892,179,574.
