Hey ninjas, how’s the trading going? On the day the majority of the top cryptocurrencies are reporting losses. Bitcoin is down 3.06% but is still trading above $9K. Ether and XRP are both down 2.64% and 0.71% respectively and are trading at $181 and $0.29.

Kim Dotcom, the German-Finnish entrepreneur, and Bitcoin entrepreneur revealed in a Tweet on the 29th of October that he’s new company is supporting the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange. Dotcom is no stranger to legal issues, in 2012 his now-defunct company Megaupload was seized by the United States.

Department of Justice and Dotcom faced wired fraud charges, money laundering, racketeering, and copyright infringement charges. Kim will be conducting an Initial exchange offering (IEO) to raise funds, the fundraiser goal is set at $8 million.

According to Dotcom’s tweet, 10% of transaction fees are committed to supporting Assange’s legal defense. Julian Assange was accused of allegedly trying to hack into a United States Pentagon computer and currently faces extradition, the sum of his potential sentences is 175 years.
