Hey ninja’s, how’s the trading going? One of the major producers of Bitcoin mining hardware, MicroBT, revealed its new mining hardware on the 17th of April at an online conference. The firm revealed its M30 series, MS30S++ and its MS30S to 4,000 attendees in its online launch. According to its MicroBT, its new mining hardware has a hash rate of 100 terahashes per second (TH/s).
The firm noted that its forerunner the MS30S++ is capable of 112 TH/s at a power efficiency of 31 joules per terahash and is expected to sell for $3,900, while the MS30S is expected to sell at $2,800. The M3OS is capable of 100 TH/s with 34 J/TH efficiency.
MicroBT initially offered a 180-day coverage for its older models of Bitcoin miners but will offer a 12-month warranty for its new series of miners. The new miners are expected to be shipped throughout June but due to the COVID-19, the company expects there will be delays.
MicroBT unveiling its new series of Bitcoin miners is proof of the increase in competition among major manufactures of ASIC manufacturers. MicroBT online launch follows the launch of the Bitmains S19 ASIC series, Bitmain S19 pro also boasts a hash rate of 110 TH/s at the energy efficiency of 29.5 J/TH.
