Robinhood Zero Free Trading App officially launches in New York

American stock brokerage Robinhood crypto announced the official launch of its zero – free crypto trading app in New York in a blog on the 23rd of May.  After acquiring a Bitlicense by the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) in January 2019, the citizens of New York are now able to trade in seven major cryptos with no commission fee using its Robinhood hood crypto platform.

The Robinhood crypto service is currently available in 39 states in the United State; these states include California, Washington, and Florida. The App allows the trading of Bitcoin(BTC), Ethereum(ETH), Bitcoin cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin SV (BSV), Ethereum classic (ETC) and Dogecoin (DOGE). The users of the Robinhood app can also track price alterations and updates for those coins and ten other currencies.

Earlier in the year, in the month April, Robinhood applied for a bank charter with regulators in the U.S to be able to offer traditional banking products and services.

The institutional – grade crypto trading platform Tagomi Trading was granted a BitLicense by the DFS, enabling the company offers trading routing and order execution services for non – security cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin cash.
