Hey ninjas, how’s the trading going? Earlier BTC was on its way to breaking $11,000 once again before its value dropped once again. Earlier in the day, BTC was trading at $10,895 before dropping $400 in an hour. Bitcoin is currently trading at $10,359 and is reporting 3.57% losses on the day at press time.
The majority of the top 20 cryptocurrencies are also reporting moderate losses on the day, top altcoin Ethereum is down 2.7% on the day and is trading at $170. The second-largest altcoin XRP is currently trading at $0.25 and is down 1.93% on the day at press time.
Bakkt crypto trading platform custodian Bakkt warehouse is now accepting Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals from its customers. The plans were first revealed in August, and on the 6th of September, the company tweeted that its warehouse is now open for customer Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals.
Two types of physically-delivered Bitcoin futures will be available on the platform with end-to-end regulated markets and custody. According to a report by Bloomberg, if Bakkt launch is successful the company will be the first platform to offer physically delivered futures. Trades will reportedly take place on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) futures platform.
