Hey ninja’s, how’s the trading going? On the day the majority of top cryptocurrencies are reporting losses. The largest cryptocurrency bitcoin is down on the day by 3.6% and is trading at $9,633 at press time. Ethereum and XRP are also down 1.61% and 0.87% respectively.
According to data shared via Twitter by the Head of Research and Managing Partner of Fundstrat Global Advisors, Thomas Lee, Bitcoin has gained 39% since the beginning of the year and has also outperformed every other mainstream asset by at least 19% so far.
The 20-year-old US treasury came in second-best performing, reportedly gaining 21.1% year to date (YTD). Gold follows as Third-best performing asset with 12.5% and in the fourth position with 8.9% the US treasuries. In the fourth and fifth respectively Global government bonds and Nasdaq, reporting a significant increase of 1,8% and 1.7% respectively.
The data posted also shows the thirteen top performances of 2019, Bitcoin is also at the top of this list with a 92% gain in the last 12 months. With 32% Nasdaq is ranked second, followed by S&P ranked in third with 28.9%, and the MSCI World Index ranked fifth with 25.2%.
